In the frame of the military operations against drug trafficking. The Twenty-Eighth Brigade of the National Army finds and destroys coca base paste laboratory in Vichada.
In the course of military operations of territorial control, troops of the National Army, jointly with the Air Force, coordinated with the National Police and inter-institutional with the Attorney General's Office, found and destroyed a laboratory for production coca base paste in the municipality of La Reforma, in Palmarito, municipality of Cumaribo, Vichada.
The laboratory belonging to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, ELN, Structure front Jos茅 Daniel P茅rez Carrero, was found thanks to the information provided by the Civic Participation Network, which immediately activated the security operations according to the complexity of the area.
At the scene, it was possible to arrest four individuals in flagrante delicto for their alleged responsibility in the crime of trafficking in, manufacturing and carrying narcotics, as well as finding abundant solid and liquid precursors, as well as materials used in the production of narcotic drugs, which hit the illicit activities of this Organized Armed Group decisively.
After the review and respective judicial process of the material and the structure by the authorities, the destruction was carried out preventing damage to the environment. The individuals were put into custody of the authority.
