The destruction was carried out in controlled conditions by experts in explosives and demolitions, without generating any damage to the people or to the troops.
In the framework of stability operations, Colombian National Army found in the municipality of Convenci贸n, Department of Norte de Santander, an improvised explosive device that had been planted by members of the Organized Armed Group, GAO ELN, on a hamlet road.
Soldiers of the Explosives and Demolitions Group of Colombian National Army complied with the security protocols and established techniques to carry out the controlled destruction of the device prepared in a gas cylinder.
