Thanks to the timely operation carried out by the troops of Colombian National Army and with the support of the inhabitants of the northern region of Valle del Cauca, a vehicle with mortar-type launching means was neutralized.
Troops of the 23rd Infantry Battalion of the Third Brigade, thanks to the intelligence work and the information provided by the community, neutralized a terrorist attack that would be directed towards the facilities of this military unit in Cartago, north of Valle del Cauca.
Thanks to the information received it was possible to find a LMN 035 plate truck with a launching pad inside.
At this time, an extensive security operation is being carried out in coordination with the National Police to secure the sector on the road that connects Cartago with Ansermanuevo.
