Troops of the Eighteenth Brigade will guard the roads to provide locals and visitors with security and safety.

The Quirón Task Force will deploy all its capabilities through checkpoints in urban, rural areas and main access roads in the municipality of Tame, in the department of Arauca, in order to maintain order during the festivities held in the city of Tame until August 19.

In this way, in support of the National Police and the municipal administration, body searches, identification of people and controls will be carried out preventing law and order alterations in the different environments where different events will take place such as afternoons of bulls, colony parade, cycling race, music presentations, gastronomic exhibitions, handworks exhibitions, international contest of the Plains, “joroperas” regional dances, motorcycle races and the nights of humor.

Supporting these activities that encourage tourism and contribute to economic and social development, is part of the mission of the troops of the National Army, therefore, they make all the efforts to have this festivity in the best way, ensuring security and safety along with the different institutions.
