Thanks to intelligence work, it was possible to find the narcotic, arrest in flagrante delicto two people and recover a minor.
Troops of the National Army, in a coordinated work with the Caquetá traffic and Transport Police, in a territorial control operation in the municipality of Florencia, Caquetá, arrested two individuals carrying approximately 300 kilos of marijuana, apparently belonging to the residual organized armed group, Gao-r, Carolina Ramírez structure.
In the village El Paraíso, at the exit of the municipality of Florencia, soldiers of the Light Cavalry Group Meteoro No.6 of the Sixth Division, conducted a military checkpoint, with the purpose of ensuring the safety of travelers of this important route.
Complying with the Protocols of inspection of vehicles entering and leaving the city, troops found in two vans about 230 packages that, by their characteristics resembled marijuana, and which had a weight of approximately 230 kilograms.
In the first vehicle there were a 38-year-old man and a minor of age, who was put into custody of the children and adolescents police, to restore his rights. Similarly, in the second van there was an individual, 24, who was arrested.
Those arrested and the marijuana, were put into custody of the authorities, for the process of legalization of arrest for the crime of trafficking, manufacture or carrying of narcotic drugs.
