In the framework of the Bicentenary Campaign Plan Heroes of Freedom, troops of the Vulcano Task Force, in recent hours achieved the revision of a presumed explosive device that had been planted in the urban area of the municipality of El Tarra, allegedly by members of the Organized Armed Group GAO - Eln.
Through the timely reaction of the troops it was established, that the alleged explosive device had been planted in the main park of the municipality, next to a flag alluding to this criminal group. Men of the MARTE Explosive Devices Management Group, activated the security protocols to conduct a review of the apparent charge, which left no explosive traces.
The Vulcano Task Force rejects this GAO - Eln policy that seeks to generate anxiety and fear among the civilian population, indiscriminately harming the community that inhabits this municipality.
