Inhabitants of the Villa Hermosa neighborhood enjoyed a sweet day thanks to heroes who had the initiative to distribute cotton candies to families who have been quarantined in this time of health emergency by Covid-19.

The soldiers of the Comprehensive Action Battalion No.7 and the Girardot Battalion of the National Army worked with the mission of bringing joy, happiness and hope to the communities in confinement due to the isolation ordered by the National Government to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

For this reason, these men decided to sweeten the day of boys, girls, and families in the Villa Hermosa neighborhood in northeastern Medellín, Antioquia, and distributed cotton candy door to door.

"That is a present they make us because they make our life happy," said Emilia López de Cardona, a resident of the sector.

With this sweet task, they stole smiles of the inhabitants of this neighborhood of the city and in the same way reminded them of the precautionary measures that they should take into account during the days of quarantine.
