San Andr茅s. The National Navy evacuated in recent hours a four years old girl that according to medical report of the Hospital of Providencia was suffering seizures, requiring an immediate evaluation by neurosurgery, pediatrics and the realization of a CT scan procedure.
The Coast Guard Station of Providencia received an emergency call of the medical staff of the Providencia Hospital, who, seeing the critical situation of the minor, requested a transfer to San Andres Island. Immediately, a Rapid Reaction Unit was sent to carry out the Evacuation of the minor in the company of her parents, for a prompt medical assistance. Currently the girl is stable.
So far in 2018, the Specific Command of San Andr茅s y Providencia has carried out four evacuations reaffirming its commitment to the island's population to ensure their well-being and health.
