On board the Ship ARC 11 de Noviembre, the Colombian Navy transported from Turbo, Antioquia to Acandí and Capurganá, in Chocó, about nine tons of humanitarian aid, represented in 580 food baskets, arranged by the Ministry of the Interior, within the framework of the program: Colombia is with you. A million families.

This maritime transport operation, coordinated and conducted by the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of the Interior, the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management - UNGRD, the Colombian Navy through the Caribbean Naval Force and the Chocó Governorate, led to the arrival of these food baskets with basic elements of the family basket, which will benefit more than 2,240 people during the Mandatory Preventive Isolation.

In compliance with the San Roque operation, the Colombian Navy will continue to contribute its logistical capabilities and human talent to guarantee the well-being of the most vulnerable communities in Colombian territory, where the only means of access are by sea, river and air. At the same time it will continue working with the # CorazónAzuLado (blue heart beside you) in an inter-institutional way with the institutions of the public and private sector to carry out the Unified operation of the State during the national contingency because of the covid-19.
