Thanks to this health activity were benefited about 750 low income people in the municipality of Pijiguay, municipality of Ovejas, Sucre.
The municipality of Pijiguay, in Ovejas, Department of Sucre, was the environment where a health activity was carried out, led by the Navy Infantry Brigade No.1 of the Colombian Navy, in coordination with the Municipal Mayor's office and the National Police. There were about 750 people who benefited of the free services of General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, gynecology and pediatrics.
During the activity, which was welcomed by the inhabitants of this community of the Montes de Mar铆a, 4,680 units of liquid Bienestarina (food supplement) were in the same way distributed, which will serve as a nutritional supplement for children under 10 years old.
On the other hand, the team of the radio Station Marina Estereo accompanied by the Police of Childhood and adolescence, conducted recreational activities, providing a moment of healthy recreation for the participants of the activity. In the same way troops held talks to prevent the forced recruitment of minors and promoted the campaign of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) I don't pay, I denounce, where citizens knew the lines of procedure for the community to report any crime related to extortion or kidnapping.
