In his first official activity as commander of the Caribbean Naval Force, Rear Admiral Juan Ricardo Rozo Obregon visited the Montes de María subregion, managing to strengthen relations with government authorities and the National Police.

In the municipality of el Carmen de Bolivar, Bolivar, he participated in an inter-agency meeting, which reviewed the effectiveness of the safety campaign conducted by the Infantry units of the Navy of Colombia and members of the National Police, and held a dialogue with the members of the Table of Victims in which they analyzed the problems of the inhabitants and reaffirmed the institutional commitments for the comprehensive development of the Montes de Maria.

In the municipality of San Onofre, Sucre, the commander of the Caribbean Naval Force and the commanders of the units of the Navy Infantry Brigade No.1 participated in a Security Council led by the governor of Sucre, Hector Olimpo Espinosa, in which they coordinated strategies along with the National Police, within the framework of the pact for the security of San Onofre.
