Trucks Navistar of the Navy infantry and the ship ARC Golfo de Morrosquillo are some of the units of the Caribbean Naval Force, which transported aid to the most vulnerable communities during the contingency due to covid-19.

Solidarity, selfless dedication and commitment accompany each morning to men and women of the Colombian Navy, who once again participated in a humanitarian activity carried out interinstitutionally with different State agencies in the insular area of Cartagena, in Bolívar, where more than 2,000 food kits and a ton of beef were distributed for the most vulnerable inhabitants of the heroic city.

Ararca, Barú, Caño del Oro, Isla Fuerte and Santa Ana, are some of the inhabitants that the Naval Institution and members of different institutions in Bolívar visited to door to door, in order to supply the Cartagena families during the Mandatory Preventive Isolation with these thousands of food baskets.

The Bolívar Governorate, the Mayor's Office of Cartagena, the National Police, the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management - UNGRD, the Colombian Civil Defense, ANDI, Chevron and the AGM Huellas de Piedra Foundation and the Bahía Foundation have joined forces to daily bring hope messages and humanitarian aid to all corners of the capital of Bolivar.

In compliance with the San Roque operation, the Colombian Navy, through the Caribbean Naval Force, will continue to carry out coordinated humanitarian operations that contribute to generating well-being and increasing multidimensional security for the inhabitants of the Colombian north coast; it also invites people to obey all the measures issued by the National Government for the prevention and containment of the Covid-19 virus.
