incautacion_de_893_kilogramos_1.jpeg

The operation, which took place in the San Joaquin sector of the Naya River basin area, was led by troops of the Navy Infantry Battalion No. 24 and the Navy Infantry Battalion No. 21 of the Naval Force of the Pacific, and troops of the Brigade against Drug Trafficking of the National Army, with the support of Prosecutor 92.

The military, guided by Naval Intelligence information, by means of river operation found the sacks that were inside the go fast boat “Jerusalem 2”, manned by a minor, which had 883 rectangular packages on board; they were apparently narcotic substances.

The materials and the minor were taken to the facilities of the Navy Infantry Brigade No. 2 in the municipality of Buenaventura, in Valle del Cauca, to carry out the Preliminary Test, which left positive result for 819 kilograms of Creepy Marijuana, 51 kilograms of Cocaine Hydrochloride and 23 kilograms of Caffeine. As it could be established, this drug would cost about eight million dollars in the international black market.

Two rifles, three magazines, 71 9mm cartridges, eight 12mm cartridges, and the boat with two 75 horsepower engines were in the same way found. This material was put into custody of the Prosecutor 92 against organized crime in Cali.

In turn, the apprehended minor was put into custody of the Childhood and Adolescence Police for the restoration of his rights.
