Bolivar. In recent hours, the National Navy rescued 21 students of the University of Cartagena, who traveled in a bus that suffered mechanical failures on the Lazaro-Cansona road in El Carmen de Bol铆var (department of Bol铆var).
The vehicle belonging to the company "Ras Arriero" transported students of the University of Cartagena to the village L谩zaro, in the municipality of El Carmen de Bol铆var, when, in the sector known as "Ojitos", apparently the vehicle lost the brakes and crashed and later overturned.
Men of the Marine Infantry Battalion N 掳 13 of the Marine Infantry Brigade N 掳 1 went immediately to the place of emergency and, with the support of the National Police, firefighters and the civilian population, rescued 21 students who were taken to health centers in Cartagena to receive the necessary care.
Thanks to the timely operation of the Marines a tragedy was prevented.
