Navy supports return of families to the village of Caño Negro, Bolivar, and delivers humanitarian aid

In compliance with biosecurity and protection measures due to the pandemic, a day of accompaniment and humanitarian aid was held in the village of Caño Negro, municipality of El Carmen de Bolívar, Bolivar, which benefited nearly 400 of its inhabitants.

 

With the participation of the colombian Navy Marine Infantry Battalion No. 13 and Mobility Battalion No. 1, the Mayor of El Carmen de Bolívar, the Provincial Attorney Office of this municipality, the National Police, the Ombudsman Office and the Municipal Health Secretariat, general medicine, vaccination and rapid tests for COVID-19 were provided. Humanitarian aid was also delivered, including food baskets, school kits and biosecurity kits.

 

The activity took place within the framework of the measures taken during the Security Council that took place this week, in which the support of government institutions and the Military Forces was ratified.
