Soldiers of Colombian National Army, in the framework of stability operations, found an explosive device in a rural area of Santiago, Department of Norte de Santander.
Once the area was secured and the protocols, techniques and tactics for the neutralization of explosives were complied, specialized personnel of the MARTE Device Management Group, of the Second Division, carried out the controlled destruction of the explosive device, without generating any damage beyond the preventive isolation zone.
In this way, Colombian National Army continues to carry out operations that contribute to safeguarding the life and tranquility of the communities.
