In the municipality of Cumaribo, specifically in the villages of El Palmar and Caño Chupave, department of Vichada, the drug trafficking chain of armed groups outlaw was hit, damaging their financial processes, thanks to an important joint operation conducted by the Colombian Air Force and the National Army.

In the framework of this operation, the threat of a laboratory where people committed crimes such as the production of coca paste base was found and later neutralized, which contained 90 gallons of DIESEL, 55 kilograms of lime, 130 gallons of coca paste base in process, 55 gallons of gasoline, 18 gallons of sulfuric acid, a manual press and 14 bottles of chopped coca leaf.

The total value of this material it is estimated at 65 million pesos, which organizations outlaw no longer receive; the elements were put into custody of the authorities.

This operation represents a decisive blow against the illicit structures and activities because it interrupts the production and commercialization capacity of drugs, in addition to the flow of income from drug trafficking.
