Thanks to intelligence operations and the joint and coordinated work carried out by the Army, the Colombian Air Force and the National Police, it was possible to destroy nine laboratories for the production of alkaloids, allegedly belonging to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Eln, hitting this way its illicit finances.
In this same operation liquid and solid precursors destined for the elaboration of coca base paste were found. In addition, troops found three rudimentary presses, harming the illicit financing of the Ernesto Ché Guevara front, which commits crimes in the municipality of San José del Palmar in the department of Chocó.
Aircraft of the Air Combat Command No.5 participated in this operation that hit, in more than 62 million pesos, the finances of those who illegally profit of the manufacture and trafficking of narcotics.
