Through the finding of a construction specialized in the illegal production of drugs, it was evidenced how the armed groups commercialize the narcotic in different cities of the country.
Troops of the Command Against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats, CONAT, in coordination with the National Police, dealt a powerful blow to the illicit activities of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, ELN, Juan Fernando Porras Martínez Front, with the finding and controlled destruction in the village of Alicia del Zulia, department of Norte de Santander, of a cocaine hydrochloride production laboratory, with a monthly production capacity of two tons of drugs, which would belong to this criminal organization.
In this coca-growing complex, it would cost 6213 million pesos and made of 4 constructions, the troops seized 510 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 435 kilograms of solid precursors, in addition to 583 gallons of cocaine hydrochloride in suspension, 1789 gallons of N-propyl acetate and 194 gallons of liquid substances. Equipment and machinery necessary for the production of narcotic drugs were in the same way found at the site.
With military intelligence information, it was found that these narcotics would be marketed by the armed group mainly in Medellín, then in Cartagena, Santa Marta and Barranquilla.
Meanwhile, it was possible to take 510,000 doses of cocaine out of circulation, which manages to contribute to protecting the health of the inhabitants of Colombia and other countries, as well as their family, social and academic environments.
This military operation managed to hit again the illicit activities of the organized armed groups that converge on the national territory since, three days ago, in Guadalupe, department of Antioquia, CONAT hit the criminal finances of the GAO-r Structure 36 by 363,773 million pesos.
