There will be more than 40 health professionals, specialists in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, who will complement this great medical activity.
Among the services that people will have the possibility to access are: ultrasounds, liver analysis, endoscopies, colonoscopies, hepatitis B and C tests, gastroenterology, hepatology, gastropediatrics and nutrition.
The Colombian Navy, in coordination with the Colombian Association of Hepatology, Colombian National Army, the ESE Departmental Hospital, the Colombian Air Force and LM Instruments; and with the support of institutions such as Abbott, the Carolina Medical IPS, Colgahnp, LATDA Endocentro, Gaster, Innvovid, Siegfried Laboratories, MK, Novamed, Selika and Tecnochemicals, will carry out a medical assistance activity focused on the area of gastroenterology, in order to provide support in the needs of the inhabitants of the island of San Andres with corresponding specific conditions.
This activity will have the participation of more than 40 health professionals and specialists in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition, who, from November 7 to 9, will meet at the “Clarence Lynd Newball Memorial” Departmental Hospital, to provide, for the first time on the island, free medical assistance in these specialties that are difficult to cover in this region of the country.
