According to the first information, this individual, apparently, would be involved in the crime of alias Andrés, who was the main ringleader of a well-known micro-trafficking zone known as La Nacional, in this part of southern Bogotá. Three firearms and drugs were found by troops on this individual.
Within the framework of control operations and institutional presence, in the last few hours the Military Forces carried out a search procedure in the municipality of Ciudad Bolívar, south of Bogotá, with the aim of hitting the logistical and criminal networks of the Tren de Aragua gang.
In fact, units of the Cundinamarca Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, arrested alias Yohan, who according to information of the authorities would be in charge of managing a wide distribution area of drugs such as marijuana, Tussi, bazuka, ecstasy, among others.
According to judicial searches, this individual, who had been delinquent with the Tren de Aragua group for about a year, has several notations for crimes such as homicide, extortion, manufacturing, trafficking, and carrying firearms or ammunition, coercion, threats and drug trafficking. In the same way, he would have had several times in different prisons in the country, which is why his criminal profile was quite dangerous.
After several weeks of investigation, the authorities established that alias Yohan would be using minors of age for the distribution of drugs in local neighborhoods, as well as for the collection of money from extortions made against merchants, owners of nightclubs, restaurants, transporters, as well as shops, supermarkets and fast food stands.
The Military Forces and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, found three firearms, ammunition, cash, a knife, as well as several doses of marijuana and tussi ready to be distributed. Even during the raid the individual tried to escape through the terrace of the house but when he was surrounded and without escape he threw one of the firearms which neutralized the threat.
According to reports that have been received, in that locality, the Tren de Aragua has been intimidating and threatening the communities to pressure the collection of money from extortive fees. They would in the same way be in charge of the criminal business of micro-trafficking through the illegal sale and commercialization of hallucinogenic substances, mainly among minors and young people.
Another action for which alias Yohan is being investigated would be his alleged participation in the murder of alias Andrés, about two months ago in Ciudad Bolívar, who would be the main ringleader of one of the largest drug distribution areas known as La Nacional. According to the first investigations alias Yohan worked under the orders of alias Andrés, after having left prison where he was paying a sentence. Apparently, alias Yohan would have organized a meeting with his then criminal boss, and due to drugging and intoxicating him, he would have murdered him, this with the intention of getting the control and management of the illegal structure.
Among the crimes for which this individual was arrested, it has been possible to establish, through investigative work conducted by the Cundinamarca Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, that alias Yohan, threatened with calls and summonses to owners of commercial premises and transporters in the localities of Kennedy and Ciudad Bolívar, so that people would pay high sums of money by way of extortion fees in exchange for not been attacked on their life, that of their families or their establishments and property.
The three firearms will be submitted to a ballistic and investigative expert examination by the Prosecutor's Office and in this way establish whether these would have been used in criminal operations.
After the hearing of legalization of arrest, this man was sent in prison.
