Within the framework of Operation Themis, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Casanare Air Group, GACAS, continues to deploy its military operation resources in the east of the country, with the purpose of strengthening security and promoting citizen participation in the fight against criminal structures that hit the tranquility of the inhabitants.
As part of this strategy, a Ranger B-206 overflight was carried out in strategic sectors of the department of Casanare, during which 2,000 brochures were launched with information related to the most wanted list, handling a direct message to people about the importance of providing information that contributes to the finding of people wanted by the authorities.
These actions manage to expand the scope of information campaigns in prioritized areas, consolidating institutional activity and generating a rapprochement with the inhabitants, which plays a fundamental role in the framework of this type of operations aimed at the prevention of crime.
The Themis Operation continues to position as a key strategy to weaken criminal structures, through the constant work and commitment of citizens, inviting them to report any information, under strict security conditions, as a significant contribution to the security and stability of the country.
