In an aeromedical transfer mission, a man from the Island of Providencia, who required priority assistance for his injuries in a more complex hospital, was taken to San Andr茅s in a Caravan C208-B ambulance an aircraft.
In a timely reaction, the aircraft crew sent all its resources to transfer the 30-year-old patient, who had suffered a motorcycle accident as a driver and suffered different complications in his right leg, so he required treatment for his injuries at the department hospital.
During the flight, the man did not present any complications in his vital signs; however, upon arrival in San Andr茅s, he had pain in his injuries, so the military medical personnel saw the need to give him management to be able to giving him in favorable conditions to the ambulance service of the Island.
