Children and adolescents of the Ramón Ignacio Abello Technical School of Aquitania, Boyacá, took part in a workshop on the protection of their rights, guided by the Ministry of National Defense.
In preventive operations for minors, the Ministry of National Defense, with the support of Artillery Battalion No.1 Tarqui and the National Police, carried out an activity to prevent the forced recruitment of children and adolescents, in the municipality of Aquitania, Boyacá.
The pedagogical activity was carried out in a didactic way, providing information to the students of the Ramón Ignacio Abello Technical School, by specialists on the protection of minors, so that this population sector has knowledge that leads them to protect themselves from actions that may violate their rights.
The activity led the National Army, through its Comprehensive Action tools, with the Childhood and Adolescence Police, to carry out playful and dynamic activities, guided by the specialized personnel of the Ministry of Defense. During the activity, presents were given to the students.
In this way, the National Army in Boyacá, watches over the protection of children and adolescents with the accompaniment of institutions of the National Government that contribute to the construction of a country, where the most important thing is respect for Human Rights.
