The permanent pressure of National Army troops drug trafficking to abandon 345 kilos of marijuana in Isnos, Huila department

La presión permanente de tropas del Ejército Nacional obliga al narcotráfico a abandonar 345 kilos de marihuana en Isnos, Huila

Within the framework of sustained military operations against the residual organized armed groups that commit crimes in the south of the department, troops of the Magdalena Battalion, of the Ninth Brigade of Colombian National Army, in coordination with the National Police, achieved an important result against drug trafficking in the rural area of the municipality of Isnos, department of Huila.

The events were reported in the village of El Mortiño, where thanks to the permanent acts and the pressure exerted by the troops in the area, an abandoned vehicle was found on the side of the road. During the search, members of the Military Forces found 16 packages with about 345 kilos of marijuana.

This result of the military operation directly hits the illicit finances of the Hernando González Acosta residual organized armed group, a structure that obtains resources through drug trafficking to strengthen its criminal acts. In the same way, the distribution of about 345,000 doses on the illegal market was prevented, contributing to the protection of public health and the safety of communities.
