Huila. All the operations classified as a crime, according to the national legal system, are fought by the men and women of the Ninth Brigade with the aim of guaranteeing well-being and security to locals and visitors in the department of Huila.
The most recent military operations were carried out by the Multi mission Heroes of the Infantry Battalion No. 26 'Cacique Pigoanza', who have their area of operations in the western part of the Department.
In the first operation, the recovery of elements used for the illegal extraction of gold was possible; in the hamlet Potrero Grande of the municipality of Tesalia, the soldiers find three motor pumps, 200 meters of hose, seven shovels, four picks, one hoe and three gallons of diesel.
The operations went to the village of Gallego in the municipality of La Plata; in the place the installation of a checkpoint, forced a man, who transported narcotics to take the flight and feel the need to abandon the package that carried a five kilos of marijuana.
