The Air Combat Command No.1 sponsored the Policarpa Salavarrieta School, in Tres Esquinas adjacent to the Unit, in Puerto Salgar, Cundinamarca.
The beautification of these facilities was carried out thanks to the funds of the Corazón Amigo program, donated by the Military and Civilian personnel of the Air Combat Command No.1, in which, adjustments were made to doors, ceilings, ventilation, lighting, painting, improvement of the communal center, among others.
In this event, 125 children benefited, who were accompanied by teachers and parents, receiving these adaptations made by the Air Force, in order to contribute to their school training.
In gratitude, the students fervently sang the anthem of the Colombian Air Force, thus demonstrating the respect and admiration for the Air Combat Command No.1. These activities strengthen ties and help the most vulnerable inhabitants of the Magdalena Center, thanks to the contribution of the staff of the Unit.
