Chocó. So far this year, more than 35 members of outlaw groups have been captured by the Joint Task Force Titan.
Thanks to the heavy pressure and the operations framed within the Horus Plan, which is being conducted by the Joint Task Force Titan of the Seventh Division, in recent hours a dangerous criminal was captured in the department of Chocó.
The military operation was conducted in the rural area of the municipality of Medio Baudó, where the military arrived, with the support of the National Navy, the SIJIN of the Police and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps of the Prosecutor's Office, achieving the capture of the individual known by the alias of Brayan, presumed member of the Clan del Golfo.
This individual, with more than five years within the terrorist structure, is said to be the executioner of Ezequiel Manyoma Barrigón, in October last year. Mr. Manyoma was a former indigenous governor and founder of the Dabeiba Queracito reservation.
The individual was, in the same way, in charge of the control of illicit plantations and the production of coca base paste, as well as constantly threatening the population that did not agree to pay the impositions that this criminal group demanded.
