In commemoration of the International Arbor Day, an environmental massive planting activity was held in which children actively participated in the planting of 200 trees, with the purpose of contributing to the restoration of ecosystems and struggle against climate change.
The activity was carried out with the support of the Logistics Support Brigade Nº 1, an institution that provided the seedlings germinated in its nursery, within the framework of its commitment to environmental sustainability. The trees were planted at different strategic points, with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of preserving natural resources and combating indiscriminate logging.
During the activity, the fundamental value of trees for life on Earth was highlighted: they produce oxygen, stabilize soils and provide habitat for numerous specimens. This operation not only seeks to positively impact the environment, but in the same way to educate and raise awareness new generations about their role in protecting the planet.
With activities like this, the institutions promote a clear message: restoring ecosystems is an urgent and shared task.
