In a coordinated operation conducted by the Colombian Aerospace Force and the National Police, it was possible to arrest in Paratebueno, department of Cundinamarca, alias Toño of Venezuelan origin, member of the transnational organization Tren de Aragua and associate of the individual alias Niño Guerrero, main ringleader of this criminal organization, who is wanted with INTERPOL red notice for the crimes of drug trafficking and association to commit crimes, being accused of allegedly being the main source of narcotics, weapons and explosives of this outlaw group.
During the procedure, it was possible to arrest in flagrante four other men of Venezuelan nationality for the crimes of trafficking, manufacturing or illegal carrying of weapons, allegedly members of the aforementioned criminal organization, known by the aliases of Felipe, Maikel, José and Ángel, who were part of the security group of alias Toño; in the same way, it was possible to find 08 Five Seven brand pistols, 17 magazines, 206 ammunition cartridges, 07 satellite radios, 40 million Colombian pesos and 3,200 US dollars.
The arrested man was wanted by more than 190 countries, which is why he moved to Colombia, in order to evade the authorities, settling in the department of Meta, where he built recreational facilities.
In the same way, he became a high-value target for the Colombian and European authorities given his criminal experience and coordination for drug trafficking, through the modality of sending semi-submarines and the use of clandestine airstrips in Venezuela, having as a destination the French Antilles to later be distributed in Europe.
