It is estimated that the narcotics would have a cost that would amount to 5,000 million pesos.
Within the framework of joint, coordinated and inter-institutional military operations, aligned with the Ayacucho Campaign Plan, Colombian National Army, the Colombian Navy, the Colombian Aerospace Force, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office found a significant shipment of narcotics.
The operation took place in the vicinity of the El Viso Xuipanae Port sector, municipality of Cumaribo, department of Vichada, in response to intelligence information and military monitoring of narcotics movements on the Vichada River. In this way, the operation that leads to the finding of hallucinogens is planned.
Thanks to the expertise of the soldiers, more than a ton and a half of a substance that resembles creepy marijuana by its physical characteristics, and 56 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride are found on a boat. It is estimated that the material would have a cost of more than 5,000 million pesos in the international market.
In the same way, at the scene of the events, 6 individuals were arrested who were on the boat transporting the hallucinogenic substances and who apparently would be members of the terrorism support network of the residual organized armed group Structura Primera, Santiago Lozada Group.
The individuals and the material found were put into custody of the authorities.
