Within the framework of Operation gratitude, the Colombian Aerospace Force arrived in the municipality of Uribia, La Flor village in Alta Guajira, distributing presents to the members of the Ethno-school Apatajain who live in this area of the country.
During this visit, more than 120 students of the Way煤u people benefited, who received these presents as a sign of the permanent Institutional commitment to the inhabitants of this region.
The people attended the invitation made by the members of the Aerospace Force, who, despite the difficult access to the village, traveled in a Bell-212 helicopter of the Air Combat Command No. 3, sharing a pleasant moment with these people.
Accessing these remote regions of the national territory has a deep meaning for the members of the Air Institution, who have the objective of promoting the stability and consolidation of the country through this type of activities, contributing significantly to the well-being of indigenous communities and helping to improve their living conditions in places that face great challenges.
