“You assume the task of continuing the fight against micro-trafficking in the territories, so that we can make a bigger Civic Participation Network; pay timely rewards; face micro-trafficking; close drug distribution places; and seize drugs on the streets”, the head of State told the new Minister of Defense, Diego Molano Aponte.
The president also gave him all his support to fight the criminal gangs La Local and La Empresa, which commit crimes in Buenaventura. Shoulder to shoulder with the Attorney’s Office it will be able to capture and make the criminals respond for the crime of drug trafficking in that region of the country.
This Saturday, the President of the Republic, Iván Duque Márquez, ordered the new Minister of Defense, Diego Molano Aponte, to strengthen the fight against micro-trafficking, to close drug distribution places, find narcotics on the streets and improve the Civic Participation Networks throughout the country.
The head of State gave guidelines, during the inauguration ceremony held at the Military Cadet School General José María Córdova, to the new head of the Ministry of Defense.
“You [the Minister of Defense] assume the task of continuing the fight against micro-trafficking in the territories, so that we can make a bigger Civic Participation Network; pay timely rewards; face micro-trafficking; close drug distribution places; and seize drugs in the streets”, the head of State said.
In the same context, he entrusted him with the task of decisively confronting criminal groups such as Narcotalia, ELN, Clan del Golfo, Los Caparros, Los Pelusos and all forms of narcoterrorism.
In the same way, the head of State ordered Molano to dismantle the drug trafficking criminal groups in the municipality of Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca).
"You [Minister Molano] receive all my support to fight the criminal gangs La Local and La Empresa, which commit crimes in Buenaventura. Shoulder to shoulder with the Attorney’s Office we will be able to capture and make the criminals respond for the crimes”, claimed the president.
