cogfm-fuerza-area-transporte-ayuda-humanitaria-amazonas-13.jpg

3,000 kilos of humanitarian aid from the program led by the First Lady of the Nation and the Presidency of the Republic, have been transported in recent days by plane BBJ - FAC 0001, from Bogotá to Leticia, in support of the communities most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the Amazon.

Upon arrival, the cargo was received under strict biosecurity measures by staff of the Amazon Air Group, who will subsequently distribute the aid to the different institutions in charge of dispensing them among the inhabitants.

It is noteworthy that on 11 occasions, the aircraft of exclusive use of the president of the Republic, has come to this region of the country, bringing food in support of the National Government and other institutions, in the fight to counter the devastation left in its hamlet by the new coronavirus.

Thus, the Air Force, in the framework of San Roque Operation, through the use of its aircraft and with the commitment to serve the country, has managed to take 392,282 kilograms of necessary humanitarian aid for Colombians living in the triple border of the Amazon.
