Sergeant Guido Imbachi Samboni

 

The command of the Seventeenth Brigade informs:

 

1. In a criminal operation perpetrated on the night of July 31, 2022, in facts that are the under investigation by the State authorities, in the village La Trampa, of the hamlet El Tres, in the municipality of Turbo, Antioquia, our sergeant Guido Imbachí Samboní is murdered.

 

2. The sub officer, of the Infantry Battalion No.47 General Francisco de Paula Vélez, was traveling as a civilian, on a motorcycle, to attend a priority medical appointment due to his state of health.

 

3. The Institution regrets the murder of our non-commissioned officer, who was vilely murdered in a state of defenselessness; we send a respectful message of solidarity and condolences to his family and partners.

 

4. This Command vehemently rejects this criminal operation and will provide the necessary support to the Attorney General's Office, in order to prosecute those responsible for the murder of the non-commissioned officer.

 

5. The National Army will intensify the operation, in order to neutralize the members of the GAO Clan del Golfo, who alter the security and tranquility of the inhabitants in this area of the department of Antioquia.
