The Command of the Seventh Division of the National Army informs:
1. In acts that are the subject of research, and according to the first information, a humanitarian convoy that was heading towards the municipality of Santa Fe de Antioquia to the Urab谩 Antioque帽o was attacked with explosives when transited through the village Guadual, in the municipality of Ca帽asgordas, by suspected terrorists of Organised Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo.
2. As a result of this cowardly criminal operation, a soldier and a member of the National Police were killed and 4 more members of the Military Forces were injured, who are currently being taken to an assistance center.
3. This Command will file the respective denunciation with the competent authorities for the serious violation of international humanitarian law, with the use of illicit means and methods of war.
4. Army units are in the sector carrying out operations to find the whereabouts of those responsible for this criminal operation.
5. The National Army will continue to carry out military operations against all the factors of instability that alter the security and tranquility of the inhabitants in this region of the country.
