The troops were fighting against the drug trafficking chain and control of the area, providing security to the strategic assets of the petroleum wells of the Field Tibú and, in furtherance of the early warning AT040-2018 and AT 050 Catatumbo, tending to counteract the effects of the operation of the crimes of armed groups in the municipality of Tibú,

 2.     A Security Council with the civil authorities, the National Police, the bodies of control and commissioner for Peace, takes place tending to establish the routes of consultation, in order to preserve the good conditions of our men, who in search operations and military control of the area during the year have cleared 319 hectares of illicit plantations and have found five explosive devices during the month of October in this specific area; these elements  represented a serious and imminent danger to the families of the sector.
