The Quirón Task Force command, of the Eighth Division of the National Army, informs:
1. On July 26, at approximately 5:25 p.m. in the municipality of Saravena, department of Arauca, National Army troops reported the activation of eight explosive devices by the illegal organized armed group Eln, which continues putting the population of this area of the country at serious risk.
2. The facts that left no human or material losses were reported in the municipality of Saravena where, according to military intelligence, members of the Ernesto Che Guevara group of the ELN used the civilian population to camouflage and attack on the troops that work to provide security on the road axis that connects Saravena to Cubará, in the department of Boyacá.
3. The Military Units found the means of launch used by the terrorists to commit this attack, an attack that makes evidence the insane way in which they permanently infringe International Humanitarian Law.
