In a protocol ceremony held at the Yopal Police Station, the Casanare Governorate handed over security components to the Military and Police Forces, with the purpose of strengthening the resources of military operations and response to threats that disturb security and tranquility in the department.
The Casanare Air Group, GACAS, of the Colombian Aerospace Force, FAC, received three tactical drones and a pickup truck, which will be used by the Base Security and Defense Squadron for surveillance and reconnaissance activities in the municipalities that present the greatest security vulnerabilities.
During the event, the acting Commander of the Casanare Air Group, Colonel Rafael Rubio Reyes, thanked the Government for the support provided by the security, research and intelligence agencies of the State, and highlighted the permanent commitment of the Colombian Air Force to generate and maintain conditions of security and coexistence in the region.
This distribution, which in the same way benefited Colombian National Army and the National Police, reflects the joint work conducted by State institutions to strengthen the resources of the Military Forces and increase the wellbeing of the Casanare people. At the House of the Air Centaurs, the Air Institution will continue to work for the defense, security and development of the Colombian east.
