The Amazon Air Group (GAAMA) during 2024 ratified its commitment to security, humanitarian support and environmental preservation in the extreme south of the country, highlighting the following operations:
Surveillance and reconnaissance missions: 415 flight hours were used to accompany the inhabitants of the Amazonian region by air, with helicopter overflights, carrying out joint and coordinated missions with Colombian National Army and the National Police.
Logistics transport: 477,910 kilograms of cargo transported and more than 5 thousand passengers including military and civilians traveled on the Institution's aircraft.
Inhabitants gathering activities: 31 activities are carried out in coordination with the Military Forces and various government and private institutions to improve the quality of life of the community, including health activities, playground adaptations and safety campaigns.
Operations for environmental preservation: more than 70 tons of recycled material were transported from Leticia in coordination with the Amazonas Sin L铆mites Foundation, an operation that benefits the ecosystem in this very important region of the country.
