Six people captured and finding of marijuana in Sucre

Troops of the National Navy in an operation of search and military control of area, captured six people and found 250 kilograms of marijuana in the department of Sucre.

 

Sucre. The operation was carried out by men of the Marine Infantry Battalion No.14 in support of the National Police, who thanks to intelligence work, through a military checkpoint in the Troncal Occidente, near Sincelejo (Sucre), captured four individuals who were driving a white truck NPR. When inspecting the car troops found a double bottom, where the individuals transported 450 packages wrapped in adhesive tape. They weighing of the packages was 250 kilograms of marijuana type "Cripy".

 

In the same operation it was possible to capture two women, 25 and 45, who went on board a private car, and according to intelligence information of the National Police, were in charge of monitoring the road alerting on the presence of the Public Force through the so called "campaign" modality. The two women allegedly belonged to a criminal network and transported and marketed narcotics.

 

The six persons, the two vehicles and the material were put into custody of the Special Prosecutor No. 138 of Monteria for the crime of manufacture, trafficking and carrying of narcotics.
