Working for the protection, coexistence and well-being of the community, soldiers of the Casanare Air Group (GACAS), in coordination with the Association Nuestra Señora de Loreto, arrived at the geriatric home Centro Vida Morichal, in a rural area of the municipality of Yopal, department of Casanare, with the purpose of sharing a morning full of joys and experiences with 31 elderly people in vulnerable condition.
On this occasion, about 40 mats were donated as an important contribution to improve their quality of life. In addition, in order to strengthen their mental and psychological state, and as a sign of gratitude and affection, the soldiers of this Air Military Unit, wrote some letters with messages of encouragement and affection for these people who thanked the kind gesture.
These spaces specialized in the protection of the elderly provide comprehensive care to their vulnerable and improve their quality of life. That is why the Colombian Aerospace Force (FAC) brought a warm and respectful message to these older adults, who remind us of the importance of family life.
These activities provide an opportunity to get closer to the inhabitants, thus reaffirming the commitment and social responsibility of the men and women of the FAC, especially with those in vulnerable situations.
