With the purpose of strengthening the productive resources of the Cacao growers of the Colombian southeast, the Air Combat Command No. 6, CACOM 6, of the Colombian Aerospace Force actively participated in the Cacao and Chocolate Week 2025, conducted by the University of the Amazonas, in Florencia, department of Caquetá.
During the event, the progress of the Productive Project of Comprehensive Development of the Colombian Southeast – Procacao, an initiative that promotes the sustainable growth of the agricultural sector and social transformation in the municipality of Solano, were presented. The activity included an academic agenda with instructions, entrepreneurship samples and the Tasting of Cacao chocolate bars from the Amazonas, where Procacao, an association made up of Cacao farmers from Solano, was chosen as the winner thanks to the quality, flavor and aroma of its artisanal product.

Solano producers strengthen the Cacao culture in Florencia, Caquetá department
Thanks to the logistical support of CACOM 6, three Cacao producers of the municipality of Solano were transported by a Huey II helicopter to Florencia, to participate in this training and knowledge exchange experience, strengthening their technical resources and their commitment to the sustainability of the territory.
In this way, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Air Combat Command No. 6, reaffirms its commitment to rural development, the promotion of the peasant economy and the construction of opportunities that contribute to the well-being and progress of the communities of the southeast of the country.
