Soldados y comunidad sembraron más de 1.200 plantas nativas para fortalecer la conservación ambiental en Carurú, Vaupés

As part of the actions aimed at protecting natural resources and strengthening environmental awareness in the department of Vaupés, soldiers of the Rainforest Battalion No. 52, of the Rainforest Brigade No. 31, carry out a reforestation activity in the municipality of Caruru.

The activity was carried out in coordination with the Municipal Mayor's Office and members of the ethnic people of the region, planting 1258 plants of native specimens, including açaí and chontaduro, contributing to the recovery and preservation of areas of environmental importance.

This initiative seeks to strengthen the protection of Amazonian ecosystems, promote sustainable activities and generate spaces for community participation around the care and conservation of the environment.
