Bogotá. Troops of the National Army, in military operations in the departments of Antioquia and Nariño, found and destroyed two constructions used by members of the organized armed groups that commit crimes in these areas of the country, and produce alkaloids.
Initially, units of the Seventh Division in military operations in the village Remigio, of the municipality of Chigorodó, in the department of Antioquia, found a laboratory which contained 360 gallons of coca base in process, 40 gallons of gasoline, 48 gallons of diesel, 650 kilos of coca leaf, 100 kilos of ammonium sulfate, 100 kilos of cement, 2 kilos of caustic soda.
Meanwhile, units of the Hercules Task Force, in the rural area of the municipality of El Charco, in the department of Nariño, found another structure in which 800 kilos of coca leaf, 350 kilograms of cement, 50 kilograms of urea and 40 kilos of lime were hidden, among other elements used for the production of alkaloids.
