In recognition of their service and commitment to the department of Casanare, soldiers who completed their military service in Yopal will access study scholarships, thanks to the agreements established with various education institutions.
The solemn act of completion of their service, presided over by the commander of the Combat Support and Services Battalion No. 16, Lieutenant Colonel Jorge Armando Guerrero Ram铆rez, was attended by officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of this military unit. During the ceremony, 94 soldiers kissed the national flag as a symbol of respect, honor and loyalty.
Thanks to Law 1861 of 2017, young people who define their military situation within the institution will have access to technical and technological studies for free. The beneficiaries affirmed that they leave with the satisfaction of having fulfilled their duty, high pride for having served their country and with great learnings for their personal and professional life.
In this significant moment, they were accompanied by their families, the engine and fundamental pillar during the 18 months that they served the country.
