Strategic visit strengthens military integration in the department island of San Andrés

Visita estratégica

The visit of the Technical Chief of the Joint Command Jorge Jaime Rivera Peláez, head of the Non-commissioned Officers of the Colombian Military Forces, was received in San Andrés, who held a meeting with Non-Commissioned Officers and Soldiers, in an activity aimed at strengthening the integration between the National Navy of Colombia and the Colombian Aerospace Force in the insular region of Colombia.

During the visit, a conference on leadership and service was held, focused on strengthening the military character, the cohesion of the military operation and the commitment to the protection of national sovereignty in this strategic area of the Colombian Caribbean. The space managed to exchange experiences that strengthen the capacity of joint response to the challenges of security and assistance to the community.

The activity of this high representative of the NCO reaffirms the strategic importance of the archipelago for national defense and evidences the coordinated work carried out by the Military Forces to work for stability, institutional accompaniment and wellbeing to the inhabitants of the island region.

Thus, the Caribbean Air Group will continue to generate inter-institutional cooperation environments that strengthen the resources of its human talent and contribute to the fulfillment of the mission of the Colombian Aerospace Force for the benefit of the country.
