Troops of Colombian National Army, in the framework of an operation against drug trafficking and in coordination with the National Police, found a large amount of liquid and solid supplies that were in a vehicle in the village of Aguas Claras, Ocaña, Department of Norte de Santander.
260 sacks containing more than 6 tons of calcium chloride and sodium methylparaben were found by troops in the car, as well as approximately one thousand gallons of acid.
The finding of the supplies significantly disturbs the finances of the structures specialized in the purchase and transportation of substances used in the laboratories where coca paste and cocaine base are produced.
