As part of the cooperation ties with countries in the region, the Colombian Aerospace Force received a delegation of the Superior War College of Mexico at the facilities of the Military Transport Air Command- CATAM in Bogot谩, an environment for the exchange of experiences and also to learn about some of the resources of the Institution.
The delegation, made up of 124 students of the Master's Degrees in Strategic Management with specialty in Joint Chiefs of Staff and Military Administration with a specialty in General Staff, had the opportunity to learn about distinctive resources of the FAC for the training of its flight crews, aerospace medicine, emergency care, aeromedical transfer, security and defense of air bases.
The visit began with a presentation by the Head of Aeronautical and Space Education, where the importance of the educational component for the immersion and development of new technologies, science and innovation was highlighted. In the same way, the visitors learned about the mission, vision and development of air power of the Institution.
Finally, the students toured the military operations ramp of the CATAM where they interacted with the crew members of the different aircraft, the staff of the National Personnel Recovery Center, the Aerospace Medicine Directorate and the Aeronautical Education Group, experiencing the flight in the training simulators.
