In the midst of the world health emergency that is being experienced due to the Coronavirus COVID-19, the Chief Technician of Command of the Casanare Air Group, GACAS, with the support of his wife, are manufacturing masks to provide the entire Unit with this object that is scarce due to it use during the current contingency.
This initiative arose to the NCO with the interest of making his knowledge available to people and remedying the crisis, being self-sufficient in the manufacture of one of the most used elements to prevent the spread of the virus, taking into account the importance of promoting self-care so that the GACAS military can continue to fulfill the institutional mission with the necessary security, in order to provide it to Colombians.
The production of face masks will be for all personnel of the Unit during the quarantine decreed by the national government. During this time the entry of personnel from outside the Base will not be allowed and in the base the accommodation capacity for the military and civilians who lived abroad in order to continue caring for Colombians, will be increased.
